Rainwear (Pvt) Ltd was established in 1989 by Mr. Rube Fernando to manufacture waterproof garments in Sri Lanka. Today Rainwear has earned a well-known name in Sri Lanka and is at No.1 rank in the water proof garment manufacturing Industry. Rainwear is the operational arm of the Ardmel Group of companies, UK which is the patent right holder for the world first ever bonding technology. The Group’s trade mark was awarded the Queens award for technological innovation in 2006 and enterprise in 2008.
