The Sri Lanka Apparel Exporters Association (SLAEA) is pleased to announce a new collaboration with Eurofins Consumer Product Testing Lanka (Pvt) Ltd, aimed at further strengthening the capabilities of Sri Lanka’s apparel sector.
The partnership was formalised with the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on 29 January 2026 in Colombo. The MoU was signed by Ms. Rajitha Jayasuriya, Chairperson of SLAEA, and Dr. Karthik N.D, Regional Managing Director – South Asia, Eurofins Consumer Product Testing.
This collaboration seeks to enhance industry standards and global competitiveness by providing access to:

- Expertise in sustainability, innovation, and quality assurance

- Shared knowledge and resources to support industry advancement
As part of the partnership, Eurofins will deliver a series of specialised training programmes covering textile and apparel testing, chemical management, sustainability, and compliance, supporting continuous capacity building within the industry.
SLAEA looks forward to working closely with Eurofins Consumer Product Testing to support the continued growth, innovation, and global positioning of Sri Lanka’s apparel industry.
